Finally a pic that shows how steep it was!

Don’t knock walkin’ if you haven’t done this climb!

Chad, Jim and Mike.  Yes, that’s snow.

Top of Burro pass.  Keep in mind, it’s in the high 80’s where we’re headed from here!

This is what a 1,000ft climb at 11,200ft altitude and a steep grade does to grown men.

Yup.

Yah, it was purty.

Always encouraging to come across a fresh mountain lion kill on one’s trail.

Gettin’ ready to rock kokopelli.  Arguably the best part.

Upper Porcupine Rim

On our way to ‘family day’ with the Wilsons.  There’s good riding yonder!

Some people.

This crew can ride!

Shux.

Dinosaur tracks!!!

Speaking of purty....

Grand Junction ‘Lunch Loops’ trail system.  “Mountain biking is hard"

Later that day we went to Glade Park around 10,000 ft and did a little Alpine ride before dark

Mike had the perfect camo for this environment

You can the the electrolytes.

Great light for the end of an awesome ride at the end of an awesome trip!

In the distance you can see the top of the La Sal mountains where we rode down the Whole Enchilada to the right and into Moab.

Just a rest stop on the way home.

Now we’re talkin!  Oh wait...I’m in a weighed down Rav.

Big fire in the distance.  Pic doesn’t do it justice.
